Really been heartbroken for the retro & emulation communities. Seeing that space flooded with dogshit Claude decomps that every announced miracle project is presumed to just be broken slop pushed out by people who don't give a shit, and knowing that real people's actual work is getting buried by it.

paperboat being vibe coded was the straw that broke the camels back for the news about the tools being made with AI for years, and its got tons of weird bugs it kind of REALLY sucks that the video game equivalent of chicken noodle soup on a rainy day was used as another sacrificial lamb for this

I love the wanted posters in TTYD so much. There's so many mentions in PM64 of Bootler, Koopa Koot, and Goompa being huge adventurers, so it's cool af to think they wandered out to Rogueport and got into enough trouble to be plastered all over town
