Played a PQ while I was in Pasadena this weekend. Registered O2 and went 4-1 Swiss then lost a close one in top 8 to Fai. Is he O1? No, definitely not as powerful and less hand flexibility. Still felt pretty solid though. I'll do some small writeup this week for Patreon

moments after posting: I realize I can't even spell her name right. I'm such a chud

I love Ariel! This kit looks awesome. I have a few different kits in various stages of completion, kinda makes me wanna get back to it

it's sometimes the most absurd and crazy banish you can get. Other times it's like please... why me...

the blues feel nice, I was quite happy with them, especially murmuring. I think you need a much bigger usurp package to consider sinspeaker or extra sinchants. I don't really like the usurp cards, they are pretty inefficient, murmuring and cullingsong are the main ones I believe in.

Heres the Viserai deck I took to a 47th place finish at Calling 100! I was quite impressed with the deck and felt like many of my losses were winnable had I found this build sooner and had more time to practice, learn matchups and refine my own play. Content on it coming soon!

neither really. I felt like I was in a reasonable spot on both sides of the turn order because of armor + disruption but playing the vis side optimally is tricky. Going second does seem good on average but I think it's mostly needing to know how to play it.

I lost twice to cindra. One I had full tempo then had a runeblade hand but missed a blocking opportunity early which I think would have let me play the game a bit different and close it anyways. Other loss to her was very close and I made several mistakes.

With better play I think at least 2-3 of my losses could have been winnable

I got some good matchup luck for sure, Levia is favored for Vis and i played 4. Although honestly the deck went through enough evolution over the past week that i still don't know his matchup spread. The deck is very tough to play and to build. But also feels so rewarding when you get things right

Shoutout to @caketcg.bsky.social for making me this awesome Viserai card. I will treasure it dearly.

Viserai is the most fun I've had in Flesh and Blood in quite some time. Excited to share my learnings with everyone! However, I suspect we have only just begun to grasp the power that Viserai has waiting beyond the Gates to i'Arathael.

IAR has me super motivated to make content. To celebrate it and PQ London season I'm running a 25% off sale for the first month on Patreon subscriptions. If you're interested in my Usurp limited guide or some upcoming PQ ready CC decklists+sideboard guides consider subscribing!
