I’ve just been taking time away. Not forcing myself to create when I don’t have ideas or drive is…okay. My body gets so mangled by work now, I kinda save it for when the drive is there. I guess it’s like creative work libido!

I think need to film a documentary about creating middle grade graphic novels, because these people and their robots JUST AREN’T GETTING IT. 😡

There are lots of librarians and educators who are just getting into comics. If they look at these awards and notice the team credits, it's an opportunity for them to understand a bit more about what we do -- information that they can pass on to their readers!
