yeah while I'm looking to see how it all shakes out, it's not exactly encouraging that this is the second thing to come out in what? a week? Plus I've already surpassed how many characters the hub allows on toyhouse and it hasn't gone "that's too many" at me yet

working on my toyhouse, since I needed to because *gestures* only so many places I can talk about some of my characters being big perverts

well if anyone has ever wanted a toyhouse code to sign up with i have 376 of them to hand out

We still don't talk about the way medically transitioning trans boys and transmasc nonbinary kids are the primary focus of the moral panic over trans kids.

Not every way of practicing heterosexuality instates the patriarchy; not every form of monogamy instates compulsory heterosexuality; not every performance of masculinity instates domination. Transcending patriarchal organization depends on decoupling sexual and gendered life from systemic power.

Today is indigenous peoples day. It is crucial to remember and talk about how there is still an active genocide against the tribal nations that were here for eons before this country colonized their land. Broken treaties and needless cruelty STILL HAPPEN. Sacred sites are under attack right now.

Remember the real moral of this holiday:

naturally because xiv won't be back until tomorrow my brain is having a fucking heyday yelling about how I need to log in and check my subs and my retainers and do my daily frontline

lrp mind you in order for the muted words to *work* the words have to be in text in the post so please ffs use your god damn alt text at least to name the characters

Peace

We have added a new rule (number 6) to Heliosphere. Mods must not require payment or be trial versions of other mods. Mods that require payment for features or are trial/partial versions of a mod are misleading and essentially advertisements. We will not allow these types of mods.

All of this 🔥

This indigenous people's day, remember that indigenous folk are people with ongoing cultures and socio-political identities and struggles.v We're here and now and genocide is an ongoing project. Take this time to learn whose lands you're on and the struggles they're currently facing.

thinking of adding a rule to heliosphere that says something like "trial/partial mods that require paid upgrades/add-ons for full functionality are not permitted". obviously I'd workshop the actual language, but that's the intent. anyone have any thoughts?

Shinigami Eyes is a joke jfc

like it IS misogyny to see male sexuality as predatory and violent. it IS misogyny to see us as dangerous or less capable of meaningful intimacy. thats not s/t which is inherent to maleness or masculinity. it's inherent to the PATRIARCHY!!

i am a queer man/masc who creates FOR other queer men/mascs, because i am writing about our experiences of the world and the ways in which they affect our relationships with queerness and maleness.

Obviously people have taken the piss out of the people debating if "M/M romance" is a space FOR queer men but like I hope you understand that the view of queer men as interlopers or invaders of a space about our own sexuality is itself because we are seen as inherently predatory and perverted
