At the time, I used Monk's active tile triggers to make it, but you can also probably do it with the newest foundry inbuilt trigger systems. Essentially, you set an area above the map that tells tokens on top of the map to move down to a different exact position below. I made an area for each lane.

To the sides of the lanes, I had different bullet patterns set up, which are just tokens, and copy paste them onto the colemns and they'll go down automatically. To avoid the foundry lagging out from tokens piling up, you can make a macro to delete tokens that enter a region at the bottom!

I use tile scroll module to make the background move and used some lighting effects in a pulse to make it look like the torches are going by. If you play around with it for an hour or two, you can probably get it all done very easily! I still recommend using Monk's over region, its V14 compatible.

Getting a movement easing module and the Prime Performance module will also help a lot to smooth out the patterns! I also used Patrol module to have the dolls move around passively when they aren't doing anything
