We are grateful for her commitment to carrying us forward toward a stronger, more sustainable movement infrastructure. Salewa’s leadership has guided Pennsylvania Voice to where it is today. She has driven the organization to meet the political moment.
Thank you Salewa! 👏👏👏 After six years of leading Pennsylvania Voice, Executive Director Salewa Ogunmefun has transitioned out of her role. From the very start of her tenure, Salewa has shared her intention to pave a path for the next chapter of Pennsylvania Voice.
That's why we're partnering with the @nkcoalition.bsky.social, @whenweallvote.bsky.social, @voteearlyday.bsky.social and others to organize the largest non-partisan early vote mobilization in the history of our country.

📢 Early voting is here!
In some states, voters are already casting their ballots and making plans to vote. Our communities decide who represents us, and that starts with showing up.
Every eligible voter deserves to cast their ballot freely, safely, and without fear.
The events were creative and effective. They met their communities where they are at -- in front of grocery stores, street corners, and so many other places.

Today, we're celebrating the incredible efforts from our state tables and their partners on #NationalVoterRegistrationDay! Over 500,000 new voters were registered across the country on National Voter Registration Day this year.
The decisions made by those in power shape our lives—and elections determine who holds that power. Now, we take the next step with #NoKings: Vote Early on October 17. Join hundreds of nonpartisan early vote events: www.nokings.org
Don’t let anyone tell you that your #vote doesn’t matter because it does. You have the power to shape our future.
Informed voters win elections by knowing when to vote and understanding how their vote affects the issues we all care about, like healthcare, education, jobs, and policy.
Today is #NationalVoterRegistrationDay!

Today, Black women are still earning roughly 65 cents for every dollar paid to white men, working nearly seven months longer just to catch up. Meanwhile, it takes billionaires less than 13 minutes to pull in what most workers earn over a lifetime.
Worker organizing and the labor movement it built have been crucial to workplace safety, fair working conditions and increasing participation in democracy.
History shows that organizing builds a fairer country. Rising costs and the feeling that no one in power listens can be overwhelming. We know there's a better road ahead. That's why today we honor the workers that organized before us, and we won't stop until we get an economy that works for us.
They are not waiting for November. Neither can we.
Join us in action this weekend for Labor Day! Find a Solidarity School near you or host a training in your community: www.mobilize.us/mayday/
This weekend, we are adding training and canvassing to the parades and barbecues. Solidarity Schools, nonviolent action trainings, and canvasses are happening across the country, building the skills and the numbers we need to defend what we still have and win what we still deserve.
