It’s a coolish lil area

Church bells ringing on a crisp autumn afternoon. Small town hustle moving around outside my window. A quiet breeze blows in to the room and caresses my skin, the little hairs on my arms dance around. The faint smell of burnt dry old crops from the nearby farms fills the air. I am grateful. 🍂🧡☕️

Today I made banana bread and a carrot cake with brown butter frosting, I baked for the first time in a long time. I love to cook and bake, but I quickly realized why I stopped…I’m really really good at it lol. Too much delicious for a girl with no friends lol. 🤷🏽‍♀️

The more I go out the more I debate whether or not to go out again. The level of incompetence has risen beyond a level of service that is required to have even a decent experience when acquiring a service. Food, retail, banking, heck just common courtesy from people in general. Optimism is failing.

Finally got around to watching Lost. I had no interest, just turned on an episode on a whim, ended up binging the series. One of the best tv shows I’ve ever watched.
