When Samantha’s father found out that Darrin was mortal, he started breaking objects in the room using #witchcraft 😧!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY...TO ME!

I'm the author of THE BEWITCHED HISTORY BOOK which is available here ➡️ a.co/d/0ggb8j6z

My brother made this several years ago, before AI was a thing 😂

57 years ago tonight (10/16/69) ABC aired #Bewitched #175: “And Something Makes Four.”

Excerpt from THE BEWITCHED HISTORY BOOK (available here ➡️ a.co/d/9Pc7aIF):

“Though not as sweet as when Tabitha was born, it was still nice. Bobo Lewis is funny and it’s weird that they’d have her.…1/🧵

Looks like Gladys Kravitz (Alice Pearce - the birthday girl) raided Aunt Clara's closet! LOL

Today is National Boss's Day - a day to thank your boss for what they do.

All though Larry Tate was a money hungry yes-man, he still had the best intentions and was a good boss and friend to Darrin.

HAPPY 57th BIRTHDAY, #AdamStephens! Darrin and Samantha's 2nd child, only son, was born in #Bewitched S6’s "And Something Makes Four" which aired 57 years tonight (10/16/69).

In S8s "Adam, Warlock or Washout" we discover that Adam takes after his mother as he has supernatural powers.

2/2…"The Glass Bottom Boat" (1966). She was married to ‘Bewitched’ director Paul Davis.

You can read all about her fascinating albeit short life in the excellent book SWEET ODDBALL: THE STORY OF ALICE PEARCE by Fredrick Tucker available here ➡️ a.co/d/08TYnFQz

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, #AlicePearce! She played #GladysKravitz for the 1st 2 seasons of #Bewitched before her untimely death of cancer.

She made the leap from Broadway to film in the Gene Kelly movie "On the Town" (1949). She also appeared with her ‘Bewitched’ co-star George Tobias as his wife in…1/🧵

But if you’re looking for one, it’s a decoration from Beistle called “Creepy Alice”. It was seen in the 1958-59 Beistle catalogue (photo courtesy of euclidBoo.com)

Someone on a vintage #Halloween page I follow posted this #witch head Halloween decoration several years ago. This is what Larry sent Samantha for Halloween in #Bewitched S2s "Trick or Treat." Later, when #Endora is holding it she pops out but leaves the decoration which falls to the floor.

Samantha caught on that a tv 📺 repairman made it look like she had a big problem with her tv, and that it would cost about $40.00.
She used her #witchcraft to fix it herself😊! When the guy asked how she fixed it, she said “Nail file 👩🏼😂!”

56 years ago tonight (10/15/70) ABC aired #Bewitched #204: “Samantha’s Hot Bedwarmer.” Excerpt from THE BEWITCHED HISTORY BOOK (available here ➡️ a.co/d/irvvMIX): "I’ve always loved this episode simply because it’s the 1st time we get to see where the convention is.”

A screen cap from my favorite scene of #Bewitched S1s "Help, Help, Don't Save Me,” which aired 62 years ago tonight (10/15/64). This is the first time we see Samantha in her flying suit.

The "We are silver..." quote comes from S1s "Be It Ever So Mortgaged" but I think the quote works well.
