I will push to immediately stop further expansion of the CEI Hub, develop a full draw down plan of the tanks, and work to reduce the state’s reliance on this one vulnerable area for fuel storage as we complete a Just Transition to a Renewable Energy Economy.

The risk is too great, particularly to the residents of Linnton and North Portland, who have historically borne the brunt of the city’s industrial pollution. We can’t just keep kicking the can down the road hoping we get lucky.

Multnomah County’s own analysis put the chance of a major seismic event happening in the next 50 years at 26%. A single earthquake could release over 350 million gallons of fuel and other hazardous materials into the surrounding environment. *

We are so glad to be in the fight for police accountability and a more equitable Portland with you!

Ms. Charlie Michelle-Westley is an Indigenous activist and a Tribal member of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde. Michelle-Westley served on the Community Board for Police Accountability and is fighting against the overpolicing of Portland’s most vulnerable, especially in communities of color.

Give this man a seat on our City Council, Portland!

The tanks are old, with the average one having been built in 1954, long before modern safety standards were in place. * I will push to stop expansion of the CEI Hub, develop a full draw down plan of the tanks, and work to reduce the state’s reliance on this one vulnerable area for fuel storage.

Did you know that more than 90% of all liquid fuel in Oregon is stored on the shores of the Willamette in NW Portland? This six-mile stretch of tanks, called the Critical Energy Infrastructure (CEI) hub, sits in a highly unstable earthquake liquefaction zone. 👇

I’ll ranking Jeremy Beausoleil Smith for Portland City Council. It was so energizing hearing his immediate, actionable, forward-thinking solutions during our district’s candidate forum.

DONATE!!!

Please launch $5 to my friend Jeremy!

Make that 4

You rock thank you! 🤘🏼

All the work we’ve done has lead up to this and we are so close to unlocking the funds needed to win this election. If you’ve already donated can you ask a friend, family member, or coworker to donate $5? Your donation could be the one that puts us over the top. We cannot thank you enough ♥️

This is honestly surreal. We are 5 Portland donors away from the 750 Portland donors needed to unlock another $100,000 in matching funds from the city. We have completely maxed out tier 1 so we won’t receive more matching funds until we meet the 750 threshold. Can you donate $5 at the link below?

If you’ve already donated can you ask a friend, family member, or coworker to donate? We are so glad to be in this fight with you for a better future!
