I’m pretty sure this is AI, mostly for the weird choices of words, inconsistent repetition and (perhaps most significantly) the two steps that are both labeled 6. I miss when people cared about the quality of their work.
This article came into the accessibility hashtag, because it suggests accessibility scanning tools will help ensure LLMs can crawl your web page. (That’s not a priority for me, but I don’t judge people that do want that). It says “the underlying question is the same one: Can a non-human reader […]
I had a pretty minor complaint to HUS (the hospital district) resolved in my favor on the third attempt. It is so frustrating that the system feels designed to wear you down so you give up before they actually investigate anything. Exercising your own rights should be made as easy as possible […]
They accepted my correction request: “Oikaisu 6.10. kello 9.14. Muutettu mielipidekirjoituksen aihesanan Autismikirjo tilalle Adhd” (Corrected 6.10 at 9.14. Changed opinion article’s topic from Autism spectrum to ADHD”)

What could possibly […]
As has been pointed out, the broken aria-label in the demo seems more likely a mistake, rather than the intended main problem. IMO, this is still the wrong solution, and avoiding the separate version of the information would be preferable. Even when it was done as an unintentional mistake, this […]
This looks like a damning admission from Google: https://googlechromelabs.github.io/webmcp-tools/demos/explainer/#compare
The problem: In the example, “Agent must scrape”, the aria-label doesn’t match the actual details (says May, calendar shows September). Much of the problem seems to be the […]
We simultaneously seem to have one news cycle around “home births are so dangerous that everyone should be forced to give birth in hospital” and a second one of “woops, we had a TB outbreak in the maternity unit”. You couldn’t make this stuff up.
There’s a lot of terrible things in this story, but there’s a small detail I’d missed until now: in the picture, the Border Guard (Rajavartiolaitos) officer is wearing a face covering. A branded one, which I assume means it is an officially sanctioned part of the uniform. While carrying out a […]
I am absolutely terrified by the proportion of people, whether on (other) social media, in the newspaper comment sections or holding public office, who believe that giant data centers are unequivocally a positive thing for Finland.
