What makes it even worse is Olise having to miss the next Champions League match against Arsenal. All for losing his cool and doing something idiotic. WTF was he thinking?

Not since Sergiño Dest went crazy and got two quick yellow cards have I been as upset at a player on one of my teams as I am right now with Michael Olise. Olise let his team down today. Bayern Munich had come back from down 2-0 & were in control until he got two quick yellows.

Imagine someone seeing trump beg Russia to release emails on Hillary, have oligarchs rent from him for decades, blame Zelensky for the war, constantly praise and look like a fan boy for Putin, and have a Russian oligarch pay for his son's wedding & still think the Russian collusion was a hoax...

Ugh... first game back after the international break and Bayern draw on the road after: gifting them a goal in the opening seconds hitting the post and the crossbar and having at least 4 goals called back for offsides.

Anybody else think of bars and restaurants with the name they had when you first saw them? Even decades and several names later? I had lunch today at a bar I still think of with the name it was when I was 17. It's easily had a half dozen names since then...

Germany gets the first win of the Klopp era 2-0 over Serbia. Still a lot of work needed with their finishing (easily should have had 2-3 more goals) and set pieces. They aren't getting much out of numerous corners each game. But finally a clean sheet!

Gotta say listening to a hockey game on the radio (because I don't have ESPN) when your team is starting the season with 7 new guys in the lineup is quite the challenge... Someday a politician will force teams/leagues to offer team subscriptions that include all games & that person will be a hero.

That ending to the USA vs Chile friendly was crazy... I still think the guy who kicked the goaltender - even if it was a slight tap - should have been ejected. Down two goals in the final minute, that was extremely poor gamesmanship.

Taking the same road, day after day, year after year wears you down. Most of my jobs were in places that really only had one way to go. And most of them could have been done from home. I just had bosses who swore you had to be in the office to work.

Days like today, I'm glad my commute is about 10 feet away. For about 20 years, my commute was an hour in various directions. I heard a lot of music on Sirius/XM, but hated the drive. I do so much each day in the commuting time I no longer have...

They basically know there's no way of stopping it. I think even the people closest to it were surprised by how quickly they went rogue. You've gotta believe AI is reading stories about how the world is preparing to stop it or control it... so it will be ready.

Just did my traditional walk to the liquor store to get some wine ahead of the nor'easter... Winds are already kinda strong with many outdoor events cancelled for the weekend.

grateful for some of the pills... I shudder at what my life might look like without them.

If I was a hockey coach I'd be like Herb Brooks making half of the team do sprints up and down the ice until they were dead tired. Then I'd have them play defense against a rested group with the goal being able to get the puck out of the zone without icing it...
