Cavan Sullivan set the MLS single-season record for goal contributions by a teenager (21), surpassing both Vancouver Whitecaps FC alum Alphonso Davies (19 in '18 and New England Revolution homegrown Diego Fagúndez (20 in '13).

My latest for @mls.bsky.social: www.mlssoccer.com/news/cavan-s...

The #NERevs had a return to their lopsided attacking focus on the right. Too easy to shut down, Gil once again not a central presence.

Easy to write off the RSL road game with players missing. Very different feeling getting wiped at home coming off the intl beak. Suddenly, a top 4 seed in the East looks in danger

New podcast coming out Monday - let us know your questions and reactions to tonight's #NERevs game

NEW PODCAST: This week, Matt Lapan and Greg Johnstone discuss an awful #NERevs loss at RSL, cracks in the defense, Landon Donovan, and more

This led to a couple people writing in this week, noting where the #NERevs were in the standings.

Landon’s response makes more sense when you realize a listener cut him with a Galaxy reference.

In the interest of context/fairness, I wanted to see why the #NERevs were taking shots from Donovan:

Started in last show where they also call Chicago irrelevant for being 5th in the East. Landon says the hosts of the show and his high school buddies could be 5th in the East.

Not the most important game of the season, but arguably the worst performance of the season as #NERevs lose 3-0 in Salt Lake

New podcast out Monday, let us know your thoughts and questions to tonight’s match

In which @kylypso.bsky.social of @wasatch.soccer details RSL's miserable run of form and I ask the age old question (again) of just what MLS is thinking playing any matches let alone key playoff seed matchups with most of its teams missing handfuls of players to international duty. #NERevs #RSLvNE

Five saves per game may be a stretch, but he should easily cruise into second-most saves in a season, which is currently 120 (Reis, 2007)

Turner is also only one of four #NERevs keepers with > 100 saves in a season joining Matt Reis (6x), Ivacic (2024) and Ian Feuer(!) in 1998

Random #NERevs stat of the week: Matt Turner is one save away from setting a personal season high.

He currently has 101 saves on the season, tying his 2021 campaign.

With 8 games left, he needs 40 saves to tie the club record (141, Matt Reis, 2006)

NEW PODCAST: Following a #NERevs 4-2 win, @realgjohnstone.bsky.social and @seandonahue.bsky.social discuss the match, Peyton Miller, a questionable PK and more
