At least nine Illinois Republican legislators celebrated new funding for libraries in their districts, despite voting against it. In Republican fashion, they took credit once improvements reached their districts. Voters in their districts deserve to know how they really feel.

Darren Bailey called Chicago a “hellhole” and wanted to kick it out of Illinois. Now he’s living rent-free in a luxury Chicago apartment, and Illinois voters still don’t know who’s footing the bill. Today, DPI filed a complaint with the Illinois State Board of Elections seeking answers.

Any time a rural hospital closes or reduces services, it forces patients to drive hours to get the care they need.
I'm traveling across Illinois to show the cost of reckless MAGA cuts to healthcare because @illinoisdems.bsky.social won't stand idly by while people suffer.
Starting today, more of Trump’s Big Ugly Bill takes effect, and over 700,000 Illinoisans could lose their healthcare. We’re doing everything we can at the state level, but I’m ready to bring this fight to Washington and secure Medicare for All.
@nolleyforcongress.bsky.social is fighting for the people who build, grow, teach, and feed America—not the ones who strip it for parts.
Let’s vote out Darin LaHood and send Paul Nolley to Congress 💪

No one should go hungry because the GOP decided SNAP wasn't worth funding. Here in Illinois, we’re protecting families from the fallout. We passed legislation that provides nearly $100 million to help families afford groceries and $400 in emergency relief for those kicked off food assistance.
The "Cost of MAGA" is expensive.
When Republicans cut SNAP, they took food out of the mouths of hungry children and families who were already struggling to make ends meet. @illinoisdems.bsky.social and I are putting working families over tax cuts for the wealthy.
