I am afraid I cannot recommend this journal. I submitted a manuscript in August 2025, and it was never sent out to reviewers. I was eventually told, quite unceremoniously, that it is just hard to find reviewers nowadays. I withdrew it in February 2026. I hope other authors have a better experience

It also gets really confused by the dashes that LaTeX uses to break up words at line boundaries. It doesn't seem to realize that the next line is a continuation of the same word.

I decided to use Microsoft Edge's Read Aloud feature to edit my own paper. Woof, it has a long way to go! My paper is about "be" versus "get" passives, but it pronounces "be" and "get" as very short and quiet, like function words, making it really hard to understand!
