Today I randomly visited a Linux install party in French-speaking 🇨🇭 Switzerland. I was warmly welcomed and we kept talking for hours after the event was over.

I'm moving back to #tmux. #zellij is too weird. Too much fiddling with theming (tmux doesn't need theming to make it readable), zellij messes up emojis (tmux just does it correctly), and overall I just tried too hard to make zellij behave exactly as my tmux setup. So why not just stay on tmux.

I do like that #SolveSpace can load images (though only pngs...) for reference to design your model around. But I really wish it was a *little* easier to auto-scale it to its real dimensions 😅

I made the decision to buy a domain matching my surname https://büchau.de which has a German Umlaut ü in it. Now this has some 'funny' consequences:

- #Firefox not auto-completing those urls in the urlbar,
- ssh choking on the umlaut (must use punycode),
- paranoid browsers like #Librewolf […]
