Yay! I was so excited to finally play it, felt like drawing a straight line to my childhood.

3/3 The questions feel like they're trolling you: sometimes they're impossible, sometimes they're childishly easy. Remember, this a game for ages 10 and up. Carmen and her villainous counterparts with puns for names are frequently said to steal entire continents, and somehow that joke never got old.

2/3 Movement is unconstrained on a large, square grid and limited to 3 or 5 squares per correct answer. It's largely a matter of finding the shortest route to a random, far-off location that shifts at a moment's notice. If you do play this, don't use the green Escape cards.

🧵 Tabletop micro review: I loved playing this 1994 classic with a group of my fellow nostalgic history nerds, trading geography questions and favorite "did you knows," but I'm weird like that. I wouldn't say it's a good game, though: it has all the frustration and bad pacing of Clue and Monopoly.
