EmDash is a full-stack serverless CMS built on Astro. It combines the features of a traditional CMS with modern security and a plugin registry built on Atproto.
Open plugin registries have a hard problem: anyone can publish, but not everything should be discoverable. Here's how EmDash uses the new Cloudflare Clef model in an Atproto labeler to screen every listing without giving up open publishing

EmDash is steadier on Cloudflare Workers. Background writes now finish after the response, cron stays under the Free plan's CPU limit, and bulk tagging works on D1.
Upgrades are one command now. upgrade-emdash updates your EmDash packages and writes a work order of everything that changed, for you or your coding agent.
The admin speaks more languages. European Portuguese and Hebrew are new, with right-to-left support, and Thai, German, Catalan and Traditional Chinese are now complete.
Moving to a new domain? Change it in Settings. EmDash checks the new address first, then updates email links, sitemaps and SEO links, and helps your team sign back in.
Long collections now have numbered pages. Lists open with 20 entries, and you can switch to 50 or 100, jump to any page and keep your selection as you go.
Type /video to add a video from the Media Library, or drop one straight into the text. Your site plays it in the browser's own player, Safari and iOS included.
We redesigned the editor. It feels like editing a page now, with a toolbar that stays in view, a handle on every block and a slash menu that knows Markdown.
Five days after 1.1, EmDash 1.2 is here! A redesigned editor, video blocks, numbered pages, domain moves and one-command upgrades. Here's what's new.
See you on the road
You know, I think this might just work
Today I rebuilt our sanity setup entirely with emdash. The experience is amazing. Added a page builder with prebuilt Astro components and the thing is ready to go! The Astro first approach saves a ton of extra configuration as well and it really is plug and play! No more questions your honor!
