Anomaly: Ohio pilot casting call! I'm working on a pilot that will, hopefully, become an animatic pilot. For now, it'll be an audio only pilot. It's volunteer for now, but just for the pilot. Picrews used smile point and Black Centered. Just reply with your reels or websites, please!

On a messy desk with a red fold and papers, on top of all that is a page that reads Anomaly: Ohio Casting Call! Jess, a blind, overachieving computer engineer joins a paranormal investigation agency, only to be assigned to the organization's B-team. Her need to be the best clashes with her underprepared teammates, all while she must navigate the trials and tribulations of hunting monsters. Under that is a smile point picrew image of a blonde white woman with short hair and blue eyes. On the desk there are also some post its hidden underneath the files. They read "Don't trust Verity" and "Office pizz... party Wednes..." The full message is obscured by the page, but it's assumed to say "Office pizza party Wednesday”On a messy desk with a red fold and papers, on top of all that is a page that reads Anomaly: Ohio Casting Call! Bethel Teshome (22) She's Jess' best friend. Bethel is a goofball who loves to have a good time. Every week she's trying a new hobby, only to drop it for her next obsession. Bethel's parents own an Ethiopian restaurant while she works as a phlebotomist. She also has a secret that she's too afraid to tell Jess. Looking for black voice actors! Richard Oxtoby (50s) He's the Chief Director of ARRO. Oxtoby cares about his work, to a fault. He overworks himself and gets too invested in his employees. Charming on the surface, there’s something darker that lurks just beneath his kind words and disarming smile. Under that is a picrew of a black woman with brown eyes and black hair in braids. On the desk there are also some post its hidden underneath the files. They read "Lunch from Aunt Yodit's" and in red, different handwriting says "my fav omg - Trix"On a messy desk with a red fold and papers, on top of all that is a page that reads Anomaly: Ohio Casting Call! Chip (30s-40s) A local news anchor who is always a little too chipper, no matter how depressing the story. He has plans to be the next Anderson Cooper, but no one outside of Ohio knows who he is. The Mad Chef (Ageless) He's a supernatural monster chef. He's aggressive, large, and keeps an unsanitary kitchen. Think Thisobald Thorm. He speaks Italian, but his accent only needs to be as authentic as an Olive Garden. Under that is a picrew of a black woman with brown eyes and black hair in braids. On the desk there are also some post its hidden underneath the files. They read "Anomaly in the coffee machine" and in red, different handwriting says "i drank him oops - Trix"On a messy desk with a red fold and papers, on top of all that is a page that reads Anomaly: Ohio Casting Call! In the pilot, these three characters are at their worst: panicked, accusatory, and scared. Man's Voice (40s) Normally, he's a jokey dad who is always a little worn out from work. Woman's Voice (40s) She's a loving and hardworking mom. Her goal was to give her children a better life, accidentally putting a lot of pressure on them. Little Girl (12) She's lively and sweet, but already stressed out by life. Under that is a picrew of a black woman with brown eyes and black hair in braids. On the desk there are also some post its hidden underneath the files. They read "Call IRS back" and "Talk to Archive Girl about gremlins"
