I see people arguing about how "you're not supposed to want [ending] to happen" as some sign Flanagan failed? But thats absolutely the case in this new version. so much so they changed a MASSIVE plot point. stay off the phone when watching stuff, especially if you gonna have the audacity to diss

like, I don't want to spoil it but if it goes where it looks like going in future seasons then there's a fantastic book from 2025 they could have licensed and yes I get why it is the way it is.

Carrie show is great, in case you haven't heard. I was sceptical. I'm a fan of King but I think there's been enough, y'know... there's an absolute surplus of other great horror writers to draw from, but yeah Flanagan made this one his own. Again.
