My Statement on the Reported Assault Involving an Off-Duty ICE Officer in Fresno.

I’ll continue working across the aisle to advance bipartisan immigration reform that supports our hardworking farmworkers, strengthens our agricultural economy, and ensures America’s food security.

Our farmworkers are not criminals. They are hardworking people who put food on America’s tables and are essential to our nation’s food security.

Today, I joined the Nisei Farmers League, Fresno Mayor Jerry Dyer, and community leaders to address the fear and uncertainty surrounding immigration enforcement in our Valley.

As co-chair and co-founder of the Crime Survivors Caucus, I look forward to seeing the Center’s continued impact and remain committed to working alongside advocates and partners to secure the resources and support survivors deserve.

During Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we recognize the vital work of organizations like the Marjaree Mason Center and leaders like Leticia, who ensure survivors have access to the support, services, and resources they need to heal and thrive.

It was an honor to celebrate Leticia Campos as the new CEO of the Marjaree Mason Center.

As of Monday, California counties have begun mailing ballots to registered voters for this election season. This is the time to make your voice heard and exercise your right to vote. Your voice matters, and your vote matters.

The President himself has voted by mail, yet he has repeatedly criticized the practice. Now, he is encouraging the very same voting method he has spoken out against. That is hypocrisy.

My statement on the third anniversary of the Hamas terrorist attack on October 7th.

Los Angeles and San Diego are home to millions of families, workers, service members, and communities. San Diego is also home to one of the largest naval communities in the country, where thousands of service members and their families live, work, and serve.

For the President of the United States to suggest allowing Iran to ‘take out’ Los Angeles and San Diego is reckless, and yet another example of his disturbing pattern of using dangerous rhetoric that incites violence.

It was a privilege to celebrate this historic milestone alongside His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian and present a Congressional Recognition honoring St. Mary’s enduring legacy and its important place in our Valley’s Armenian community.

For 115 years, St. Mary Armenian Apostolic Church has kept Armenian faith, culture, and traditions strong in the Central Valley, serving generations of Armenian families.

I will continue working to support the nurses and healthcare professionals who care for our communities every day.

Clinical Nurse Specialists are innovators, educators, researchers, and clinical experts who improve patient outcomes, strengthen our healthcare workforce, and advance evidence-based care.

Over the weekend, I had the honor of joining the California Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists Fall Conference. I was especially proud that, for the first time, the conference was hosted right here in the Central Valley.

Happy birthday to Yosemite National Park! For 136 years, Yosemite has stood as one of our nation’s greatest natural treasures. I remain committed to protecting its natural, historic, and cultural landscapes so future generations can continue to enjoy all that Yosemite has to offer.
