We report: there is a little bit too much to look at in the sky this afternoon. We try to focus on the expansion of a single cloud, but something else is always happening just to the side. The light is catching on every mountain and valley that exist in the clouds.

Digital painting of a seaside landscape, facing the coast: the sea is calm, the sky is blue, with a line of large, expanding clouds rising into the sky. Their edges are all white in the bright sunshine. There are more white clouds higher in the sky, not as defined and voluminous.

I wanted to do a serious painting and record the whole drawing process, just to have an example for the youtube. It ended up taking over 10 hours, so I'll have to do multiple x16 speed edits to make it at all palatable to watch.

Digital painting of a light green path in a forest surrounded by trees on both sides. A creature with aspects of both an insect and a dinosaur is standing on a tree root in the upper left of the image, surrounded by a few smaller flying creatures. The image is painted in mostly warm tones, making it appear to take place in early morning.
