@jesusjonesband.bsky.social"Doubt" is obviously the album, but it was also a process that unfolded over a number of months - singles, remixes, alternate versions, B-sides. When we look back, we remember all of it. And we're touring the album too, in Nov & Dec. https://www.jesusjones.com/tour-dates/
@jesusjonesband.bsky.socialIt takes seconds of your life, to boil a head, it takes seconds
@jesusjonesband.bsky.socialthis is awesome, now we just have to figure out a way for the whole band to follow, and play some gigs in one of our favourite places on this planet
@afewgoodrecords.bsky.socialReposted by @jesusjonesband.bsky.socialOkay, I'm gonna say it. As a DIY label, the fact that we got to help release a @jesusjonesband.bsky.social song is crazy to us.
The physical copies of Loser Babies is probably the most limited item in their discography ever. Don't sleep on it!
@jesusjonesband.bsky.socialThe record that changed my life: specifically, the brutal version of Hiroshima Mon Amour on the b-side youtu.be/EX2prYi2SQI?...
@jesusjonesband.bsky.socialHurrah! You can all hear our new song, as a part of the soundtrack to @josie.zone 's awesome new book about Beck. Being involved in this project has been awesome, and we're happy with the way the song turned out, too. Hope you like it x
@jesusjonesband.bsky.socialGO and listen to our new song "Oh! What a Future!", on the soundtrack to the new (and amazing) book that Josie has written about Beck. We're thrilled to be a part of this, and hope you like the new track x
@jesusjonesband.bsky.socialCan't quite believe it's been TWO AND A HALF MONTHS since we released this! Thanks to everyone who's been in touch since "Twilight", saying they can't stop playing this.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S3nlUyXa9Es
@jesusjonesband.bsky.socialSo many of the responses are visual - mine were always auditory - as a seven year -old, hearing the "crow" section of "Echoes", by Pink Floyd. As a youth, the opening bars of "Hamburger Lady" (and that one still has the power to make my blood run cold)
@jesusjonesband.bsky.socialThis week, in 1989, we released our debut album "Liquidizer". Hands up who remembers dropping the needle down onto side one, track one, and hearing this blast out of the speakers? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QSASBEasFXI
@jesusjonesband.bsky.socialFour weeks. Four releases. #doubt35
@jesusjonesband.bsky.socialPre-order this because - obviously - it's great - and it also has our first new material, since we started "Twilight"!
@jesusjonesband.bsky.social35 years ago today - we were playing the second of two nights in Toronto!
@jesusjonesband.bsky.social#doubt35 is coming - as we celebrate the 35th anniversary of our second album, by taking it back out on the road again, and playing it in full (and chucking in lots of other stuff, too!) join us! https://www.jesusjones.com/tour-dates/
