This was a really exceptionally-crafted remake that to be honest, mostly made me realize how much I don’t love on-rail shooters, even when exceptionally-crafted. I genuinely think I’m more excited to eventually play the (much-rumoured) new Star Fox Adventures 🤞

I normally don’t love Platinums that force you to replay the entire game on a higher difficulty *but* Pragmata’s Lunatic mode was very satisfying; really pushed my knowledge of the game’s hacking and movement mechanics to a challenging flow state that I took great pleasure in.

Welp. Starting in November, I will no longer be employed by IGN. It's been a hell of a ride and I cannot understate how much of an honor and a privilege the last 11+ years have been. This was a dream job, but the best part of IGN is, was, and always will be the people.
