It’s Laura’s birthday today, so she gets to model the skeleton-themed Halloween decoration!
One day closer to Halloween means one more skeleton-themed decoration…
Um… it’s Thursday… dammit…
It’s Wednesday, and you know what that means… more skeleton themed Halloween decorations!
This one gets a bit smoochy, so if public displays of affection disgusts you, look away now…
We’re a week into October, which means Halloween is around the corner, which means the decorations are coming out… So you have a mission! Find skeleton-themed decorations wherever you are, take a picture, and tag @landylandofficial over on Instagram! Spread the spooky!
It’s always such a kick, quite honestly, to stir anyone to draw or write or paint or dress up because of the Skulduggery books. It keeps the series vibrant in my mind.
LOVE. THIS.
I send videos free of charge, don’t worry! Just contact me again in December!
I reckon I can...!
Sitting at desk, staring at screen, struggling to solve a plot problem. Need some thinking time. Take dog for walk. Drive to pharmacy. Have lunch. Move boxes out of spare room. Return to desk. DAMMIT I FORGOT
2017: my very first full length comic for Marvel was Secret Empire: Uprising, where I was partnered with an artist named Josh Cassara. I finally met him about 2 years ago, at a con. I introduced myself and he couldn’t have been nicer, cooler, or happier to chat. RIP.
A big day at Marvel. My heart goes out to everyone who has to make this tough decision.
A Colin MacNeil cover for Toxic! today. I love MacNeil’s square-jawed style. He drew one of the definitive Judge Dredd stories, Song of the Surfer, which rightfully captivated the hearts and minds of @2000ad.bsky.social readers back in 1989…
It just gets cuter…
Two of our kittens enjoying nap time… Winona and Bibs. Not sure which is which.
When I first saw Mick McMahon’s work in 2000AD, I didn’t know how to process it. When I saw it in Toxic!, I didn’t know how to process it. When I see it today, I don’t know how to process it.
It’s BRILLIANT, I know that much… but I don’t know how to process it.
Marshal Law, by Pat Mills and Kevin O’Neill, stole the show once again- but suddenly there were a few other stories that battled for my affections- and we’ll get to them…
And back we go to Marshal Law goodness in Toxic!, a weekly comic that ran for 31 issues in 1991.
Blast! didn’t stick around long enough for me to miss it when it was gone- but it did have some AMAZING stories.
This is where I am on trans rights, women’s rights, immigrants rights and of course black rights. You don’t bend. Not an inch. Anywhere.
