Tea drinking fool, storyteller, humanist, voluptuary. Easily distracted by cats and reverb. Quiet voice, loud hands. Likes writers, books and awful puns.
Casting has begun for a remake of The Shining.

We loved the wonderful lines in this one, the tension and pace, and the exploration of addiction and that final, soothing image.

My first crush was called Matthew. He had black hair and freckles and the bluest eyes. I lived at number 5 and he lived at number 20, until people made false reports to the council about his dad (single parent, traveller, in the late 70s), and they were forced out. I was 5 and devastated.
It is weird. It talks about creating 'an amiable environment for travellers'...to me that is dealing with someone comfortable, not someone with swollen legs and sore feet. Sure, encourage staff to alternate between sitting and standing for their health, but give them the choice.
Go back two more generations and you'll find a Jew who fled the pogroms in Odessa and an Irish migrant. Does that make a difference? And what is she proposing the endgame is for all the not-quite-British-enough?
I had one Italian grandparent, I never met him, his son (my Dad) never met him. Does his existence somehow make me less British? (Does the fact I suspect he was a blackshirt, based on the fact that he was a POW who wasn't allowed to stay after WW2 change her view?)

There is a thrill about live music - it doesn't even have to be "good", that AI cannot replicate - because it is a connection between the performer and the audience, one feeding off the other.

Yes - that opens up a lot of different ways sex can be bad.
You should run a workshop, then with your poems and the workshop results, you'd have a Vagina Monologues-style theatre experience. Maybe called it We Choose The Bear - or you can borrow my future Novella In Flash title, The Joy of Ex.
I've written a couple of flash containing elements about exes (one very much showing me not handling things well, by leaping out of bed and offering tea to someone after first time sex, to avoid saying out loud "oh that is what bad sex is"). A novella in flash has been mooted - The Joy of Ex
