@shiftaction.bsky.socialJust last week, CPPIB co-hosted the Canada Investment Summit and announced a $50-billion investment fund with Brookfield focused on “critical infrastructure and strategic industries across Canada”. As its influence grows, so do the stakes for our retirement savings and for the climate.
@shiftaction.bsky.socialCPPIB’s public meetings start in under two weeks. Since the last round, it has dropped its net-zero commitment, put $6B into fossil fuels in 2025 alone, been hit with a climate-risk legal challenge, and still has no Indigenous rights policy.
