We do not need to spend more money on bombs and bullets. We need to spend more on housing, schools and our NHS instead. A roof over your head. Enough food to feed your children. A public health service you can rely on in your time of need. That is what real security means.

What an absolute disgrace. A FIFA-certified referee being denied entry to the United States purely because he is Somali.

The World Cup is meant to bring people together. This is racism, plain and simple. Shameful.

The Arsenal parade was an incredible occasion, but it was also reminder of how much we take cleaners' work for granted.

So let’s use this as an opportunity to win fair pay and conditions for cleaners! My piece for @islingtontrib.bsky.social.

For the past two and a half years, the UK government has armed a genocide as it was livestreamed around the world. Now, some politicians are pretending they have always been against the crimes they enabled. Too little, too late. Your complicity will never, ever be forgotten.

As Health Secretary, Wes Streeting deepened the privatisation of our NHS and handed over our data to Palantir, a company involved in genocide. I am sure his friend Peter Mandelson is very proud. Time to reinstate our NHS as a fully public service — and kick Palantir out!

Our government is still supplying arms to Israel as it continues to bomb, starve & dispossess the Palestinian people.

That is why thousands of us continue to demonstrate — and that is why we reject disgraceful attempts to malign our movement for peace.

Starmer's resignation is not enough. What needs booting out is the politics he represents: corporate greed, anti-migrant rhetoric and endless war.

Palantir has been granted “unlimited access” to NHS patient data. This is the same company that is involved in mass surveillance and genocide. We did not consent to this. Get Palantir out of our NHS, now.

Reform want to round up migrants and detain them indefinitely in areas that don’t vote for them. Yet for most of our media, it’s those marching for Palestine who are creating hatred & fear. These disgusting plans are an affront to democracy — and must be fiercely opposed.

59
@jeremycorbyn.bsky.socialMay 3, 2026, 2:25 PM

The government knows our marches for Palestine are made up of all faiths and none. The are suppressing our hard-fought right to protest for one reason: to hide their complicity in genocide. Israel’s occupation must end. Until then, our movement for peace isn’t going anywhere.

How the world works in a nutshell: giant corporations profit from an illegal war whilst the governments who wage them tell the rest of us to tighten our belts.

Donald Trump has threatened to destroy every bridge & power plant in Iran, vowing to bomb the county “back to the Stone Age.” We warned our government it was dragging Britain into an illegal war — and that the consequences would be catastrophic. Enough. End UK complicity now!

The US bombed a primary school in Iran, killing 168 girls. Why is nobody talking about this anymore? These abominable war crimes should not be forgotten — and nor should the lives, hopes and dreams of human beings who were slaughtered with impunity.

Scrapping jury trials is an affront to the very foundations of our democracy. From the moment this government was elected, it has come after the civil liberties we all hold dear. This is yet another outrageous assault on our fundamental freedoms. I will be voting against it.

Classrooms of children in Iran. Hundreds of people in Lebanon. The ongoing genocide in Gaza. The message from our political and media class is clear: their lives are less valuable than others. Every human being matters, and every human being deserves a life of peace.

Allowing British bases to be used in an illegal war of aggression is a catastrophic and historic mistake. Britain has been dragged into another war because our Prime Minister would rather appease Donald Trump than stand up for international law.

Congratulations to Hannah Spencer on a stunning victory. Proud to support a campaign built on hope and humanity. Under our new leadership team, Your Party will work constructively with the Greens, because there is only one way we can bring about real change: together.

In Gorton and Denton, vote for Hannah Spencer & the Greens. There is only one way we will defeat Reform: by working together.

There is only one way we will defeat Reform: together. That’s why I’m backing the Greens in the Gorton and Denton by-election. We are a mass movement of all ages, backgrounds and faiths — united in a belief that things can, and will, change.

The Prime Minister says he changed the Labour Party. He's right. He changed it from a party of principle, workers and peace, to a party of patronage, the establishment and war. Poverty, corruption and complicity in genocide. That will be his government's legacy.
