Time and time again, Christine Drazen refuses to push back against Trump with conviction. In a recent interview with the Oregonian, Drazan was asked what specifically have you done to push back against Trump??? Once again, she missed the mark.  Oregonians need a governor who will protect us!

In 2023, Nurses and healthcare workers from across the state of Oregon came together to pass Oregon’s bipartisan Safe Nurse Staffing Law. That law put safe patient care before CEO pay. In a recent live televised debate, Christine Drazan trashed the law and made it clear that she would repeal it.

We can’t let Christine Drazan rewrite history. I found the statement she issued when Trump announced that he was sending troops to Portland. Despite what she now implies, she didn’t oppose Trump sending troops to Portland. Thankfully, Tina Kotek & Dan Rayfield successfully fought off Trump!

Last Nov., I met Abdul El-Sayed at a small gathering of progressive healthcare leaders in Portland. I didn’t know anything about him. I just knew that he was a champion for universal healthcare, running for US Senate in Michigan as an underdog. Now he’s the front runner for the seat! !

I was recently appointed to the Oregon Hunger Task Force by Speaker Fahey. Nearly 80,000 Oregonians have been cut off from food benefits thanks to the “Big Beautiful Bill” signed by Trump. Thousands more have had access to food reduced. No one who needs food should go without!
