@alexconnolly.bsky.socialHappy to also report the public multiplayer is rock-solid. I'm not really a public multi guy, especially with racers, but this is smooth, wild and -- devoid of the upgrade tree -- anyone's game. Bonkers fun.
@alexconnolly.bsky.social@pushingshapes.bsky.social Mate, the speeder bike. Every single element is engineered to feel good; the tilt, that spring-loaded slingshotting around corners with its accompanying wail...other vehicles are great, but the speeder bike is a personal GOAT.
@alexconnolly.bsky.socialGreat news. The starfighters from plucky kitchen-sink sci-fi game Angels Fall First are now available for 3D printing.

@ltmarc.bsky.socialReposted by @alexconnolly.bsky.socialIn the mood for some tank. Final design is still TBD, including the turret, but current main inspos are Char B1 Bis and @PatsoCatso's work (on the other hellsite).
@alexconnolly.bsky.socialLooking forward to hearing your thoughts! Quite smitten! Just the right amount of technical crunch, and another argument for the roguelike racer cocktail.

@sean.zimmerit.moeReposted by @alexconnolly.bsky.socialA long time in the making, I polished up a long piece I've been writing about the production history of Mospeada to celebrate the TV debut (43 years ago today! of this unique and beloved mecha series.

@alexconnolly.bsky.socialBit late to this, but Tom Clancy's EndWar is back online, thanks to a tiny but dedicated community. Voice-control gimmick aside, EndWar's best feature was its (officially shuttered) persistent online Theater of War territory control mode. Not a timeless classic by any means, but great to see.

@garagekit.clubReposted by @alexconnolly.bsky.socialOur latest original resin kit is option parts for building a Smartgun similar to something you may have seen in some ‘80s Gundam manga. Multi-media kit, meaning it comes with brass parts and vinyl hose.
