The amazing work being done by our local campaigners in the Bidston & St James ward.
Oil profits soar while you pay the price š People like you and me are paying the price for expensive energy. Greens want windfall taxes on oil profits to ease the cost-of-living crisis and fund action to deal with climate breakdown.
Greens are asking the people of Rock Ferry & New Ferry to elect 3 Green councillors in the next local election so we can prove we can do much more where Labour have let you down.
Itās great that alley gates are going to be installed in this alley between Napier Road and Ingleby Road in New Ferry. But so much more needs to be done to resolve this issue.

Part 6/6 : We will continue the fight to protect Wirral, its residents and its environment.
Part 5/6 : We want to thank every resident who contacted us. The strength of feeling and passion across Wirral was overwhelming. Our opposition remains resolute. We do not support this pipeline or the construction of a huge āAbove Ground Installationā here.
Part 4/6 : Sadly, Peak Cluster is still likely to be able to proceed with the surveys relatively quickly using other legal powers. Nevertheless, it was right for the committee to consider the request carefully and reach a cross-party decision in Wirralās public interest.
Part 3/6 : Green councillors spent considerable time before the meeting seeking clarity about the legal position and the potential impact of the decision on the projectās timetable. Having carefully considered the advice, we supported the decision to refuse access.
Part 2/6 : This was not a decision on whether the proposed carbon dioxide pipeline should go ahead. It concerned only whether the Council should voluntarily allow access to its land for survey work.
Part 1/6 :Last night, Wirral Councilās Policy and Resources Committee took a cross-party decision not to grant Peak Cluster a licence to conduct surveys on specific areas of council-owned land.
Here's to another year of growth. Let's make next September even more impressive. #OneYearofZack
