I wonder how far you’d be able to get with making mobile apps with Tauri so the bulk of the app is just the web view still. Testing would still be a challenge without an Apple device but maybe some motivated users might be able to help test it out as a proof of concept before you spend the money

Apple is…something. I both love them and hate them. They make some great products but the walled garden can be a nightmare 🤬 It would not surprise me at all to hear that they’ve set it up to basically force you to create an app for the App Store to have easy access to Apple Health data 😫

Yeah, I’ve also have my family setup on 1Password in addition to having it at work. Not thrilled with the situation, but switching isn’t necessarily easy as people want to make it seem. Can be easy to forget that software is used socially.
