Used PSPMAN, @obsoletesony.com's new FLAC/MP3 player, as a motivator to mod my PSP Go! MemoryStick M2→MicroSD, 30-pin connector→USB-C, updated CFW. The analog tape visualizer pairs so nicely with PSP Go closed mode and the Hold switch! Sounds great to my ear! I'd love gapless playback one day 🙏

These guys are just committed to burning down their platform aren't they? I spent over a decade specializing in Unity and it's basically worthless now. 🫠

I'm in the endgame of Control Resonant now for sure. I'm so glad it saved some surprises for the end...

Am I just reaching or is the Unknown Resonant a subtle nod to Philip K Dick's semiautobiographical VALIS (in which a pink beam pierces Dick's mind from space, granting him hidden knowledge and putting him communion with VALIS/God)?

A screenshot from CONTROL: Resonant, in which a Patterned man with two sets of arms and legs who we only see from the back, surrounded by a Patterned halo of rangers, channels a beam presumably originating from an extradimensional being in the sky, through a hole that replaces most of his head, and onto a living ranger, bringing him under his own control.

treat your body like a data center. consume as much water, art and literature as possible. upset local municipalities with your existence.

my fave instagram thing is when I get a reply like "lol" and the big button shows up to summarize all my 1 unread messages

nothing is better than buying a shirt on a whim, completely forgetting you did it, and having it show up a week later

The AI-slop era has lowered the floor so far that anything made by a person is automatically impressive now. Expend any amount of effort and you're in the top 1%! And people still can't do it!

When you send a bug report to Unity, there's a heavily-recommended option to pack up and include a snapshot of the unity project. They send the whole thing, gigs of assets and all. Thinking about all the projects I sent copies to Unity over the years this way. I wonder if they were used for training

@partlyhuman.comOct 7, 2026, 6:17 PM

omg absolutely that. yet again the scale of IP theft to train models is staggering (when this inevitably comes to light)

@partlyhuman.comOct 7, 2026, 6:14 PM

I'd download that!

Sometimes my wife and I like to send each other text messages as though they’re democratic fundraising messages, and I believe she has produced the jewel of the form.

, it's
and I
have some personal news to share with you.
Being a mom is one of the greatest joys of my life, and I feel deeply that we should have salad tonight
This year has been challenging in many ways, and I have immense gratitude for the kindness and support of family, community, and people like you who have continued to stand by me through everything. It means the world, and I wanted you to be among the first to know that squash is in the oven and kale is in the fridge.As many of you are aware, ve been navigating one of the most challenging periods of my day while waiting for dinner.
Facing baseless federal hunger brought on by not eating since lunch, fighting for the working kids of this country, and now caring for a mean toddler and helping him grow up in a world that isn't always easy. But it has also reminded me exactly why I do this work and who I do it for.
I will never stop working to eat dinner. I will never stop fighting for what is right, even when there is also some feta in the fridge. And I will never stop being so very thankful that you are by my side in this important work and that there is tahini in the pantry for dressing
With love and gratitude,
stop to end

bsky needs a "close circle" feature so I can feel safe venting about ai-pilled people in my life 😒

@partlyhuman.comOct 7, 2026, 12:11 AM

Surely I don't need a third MiSTer, right....? RIGHT? 😖

@partlyhuman.comOct 6, 2026, 6:28 PM

also some of her attacks are slow and it's frustrating getting hit when you can't cancel... all stuff you get the hang of eventually ofc

@partlyhuman.comOct 6, 2026, 6:26 PM

I love parrying I'm a freak! hinako's dodge is CRAZY wide and you're often in spaces way too tight for it so I struggled to learn to use it effectively

@partlyhuman.comOct 6, 2026, 6:18 PM

in all seriousness I hated the game most of the first playthrough... but the multiple endings on this one go so insanely deep. first pass you only get the broad strokes of one of the 3 layers the story operates on. I also needed a lot of time to get the hang of dodging.

lol I'm still rocking a 1080 too! no joke!
