Well, that's true. And necessary!
A mate of mine said exactly that.
Great that you enjoyed it - you deserve it.
FA will get votes from me for Best Supporting Actor, just marvellous in a bit of a thankless gig.
This was great - and, somehow, ten years ago! www.broadwayworld.com/uk-regional/...
Cheers! I did too. When it comes to ratings, you have to screen such problems out really. Theatre is a highwire job!
Let me know what you think. Press night had an 80 minutes technical delay which rather sapped its energy.
FWIW, I thought is was very well done, but there's no escaping the fact that it's not a very good play.

'Delivered with such warmth and charm that your heart melts' ★★★★ AS YOU LIKE IT #RSC #Stratford - #JonathanGroff - in a dress! - is a star #Rosalind, though #FisayoAkinade's Celia almost steals the show, says @garynaylor85.bsky.social www.theartsdesk.com/theatre/you-...
Yep. I saw FL snr dancing round the corner flag at Elland Road in 1980 - not a good sight for an Everton fan. It was a long way home.
There's a reason why I know John Barnes' father's job (officer in the Jamaican army). Apart from Jamie Redknapp, I do not know that info about any of the thousands of players I've come across. It is literally because his nationality was questioned.
John Barnes was questioned all the time, sneakily im the press, but had there been social media then it would have been all over it.
★★★ AFFLUENZA #RiversideStudios - #AndySandberg's play is too rich a mix for a rich kid's tale - and two halves do not make a whole, says @garynaylor85.bsky.social, but the satire is sharp and the morality explored in some detail and with real poignancy www.theartsdesk.com/theatre/affl...
★★ ANTIGONE EXITS #MinervaTheatre @chichesterft.bsky.social - #Sophocles updated, and diminished - this is bold and pacy, but lost in its ambition, says @garynaylor85.bsky.social, with much of the play's nuance mangled www.theartsdesk.com/theatre/anti...
I suspect the only members of the 'cricket community' who didn't use it wear suits and work as cricket administrators. The Guardian's rolling blog of CC matches is a good alteenative too.
I wonder if anyone has contacted the "See it. Say it. Sort it." numbet to report something that doesn't look right. A train running on time.
★★ A SMALL AND QUIET LIGHT @orangetreetheatre.bsky.social - Docudrama about Second World War Allied spy #NoorInayatKhan lacks dramatic punch, and is disappointingly superficial and slender, says @sierz.bsky.social www.theartsdesk.com/theatre/smal...
★★★★★ WHO'S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF? #sohoplace - #MarianneElliott’s magnificent revival of Edward Albee’s classic stars #GillianAnderson and #BillyCrudup - @sierz.bsky.social on an exhilarating evening of superb acting www.theartsdesk.com/theatre/whos...
A brilliant revival: Chewing Gum Dreams, Theatre 503 sierz.co.uk/reviews/chew...
★★ BULL @parktheatrelondon.bsky.social - It's a long hour with nightmarish nihilists in #MikeBarlett's hard charging satire on workplace bullying in a production by #DeafinitelyTheatre - @garynaylor85.bsky.social just wishes it wasn’t such a grim ordeal to watch www.theartsdesk.com/theatre/bull...
