@khorazir.bsky.social“Now this isn’t creepy at all. An old, abandoned house with a lit lamp that swings by itself even though there’s no wind.” “Are we sure it’s abandoned, though. I mean, someone put out cat food.” “Well spotted, Niko.”

@khorazir.bsky.social“The house should not be far. Let us go this way. Charles, is anything the matter?” “Nah, mate, just checking something. Be back soon.” “Be careful.” “Sure.”

@khorazir.bsky.socialClimate change is really doing a number on those poor chestnut trees. After a horribly hot and dry summer which caused them to shed most of their leaves far too early, they are flowering again in early October.
@khorazir.bsky.socialNot just injuries, but stains, too. I seem to be unable to handle any kind of pen (or brush, or pencil) without my hands being stained afterwards. As a student, I accidentally stabbed myself with an ink pen. The mark is still there over thirty years later, basically a tattoo.
@khorazir.bsky.social#DBDAPromptober2026 Day 8: Team
“Hey, guys, I almost had to use my powers to find you in these woods.”
“Oh, are we interrupting anything?”
“Uhm ... nope. Hey, girls.”

@khorazir.bsky.social“Why are you stopping, mate? Anything the matter?” “I think someone or something is watching us.” “Yeah, you’re right. Let’s go and check. What?” “We are not entirely done here, Charles.” “Oh, right.”

@khorazir.bsky.social“Well, I’ve got good reason to wax romantic, haven’t I? I mean, there’s moonlight, and I’m here with my incredibly smart mate …” “Charles.” “Partner, I mean. Best friend. And love of my afterlife.” “Charles!” “Awww, you’re blushing. Come here, you. Gotta do something about that blush.”

“Awww, look at that, mate. They look so peaceful and innocent – such a contrast to these dark and somewhat creepy woods.”
“Are you waxing romantic now, Charles?”
