we all know people who are all twisted up inside with jealousies and resentments, and they are so exhausting to be around. why not be free!! why not just enjoy your little humble life of creative work!!!

there's always someone who's more successful or celebrated or respected than you are. the goal is not to win some sort of beauty contest, but the goal is to make art that means something to you in a sustainable way and encourage others to make art too

one of the great poisons in a creative community is jealousy. if you get twisted in your mindset, you can start to resent those around you who you perceive as having more opportunities or greater access than you do. but a loving mindset always celebrates the wins of others!!
