I am putting a pause on ADHD meds for now, while I get my other mental health stuff sorted out once I'm feeling more stable I can try something else for ADHD in the new year between miscommunication from healthcare providers and disappointing results, I can sum up this experience as ✨️frustrating✨️

✌️ and that's the end of trail 2 of elvanse for my ADHD I'm still not experiencing any positive side effects and my anxiety and depression symptoms, which were previously kept at bay by other medication that I couldn't restart during my elvanse trial, are coming back

but that won't keep you safe if a pissed off fascist really feels like swinging for your head I'm privileged - I'm white, physically able. I've still been assaulted for how I look don't assume you are a special case just because you scare grandmas in the supermarket

safety isn't simply a matter of looking 'punk' or tough. even if you're used to feeling that way. and it sure as shit isn't as simple as that for marginalised folx a privileged person can wear controversial symbols with much less fear of physical retaliation

ask yourself - do I have privilege that means I can wear this without fear of being assaulted? and even then, privilege won't always protect you

wear your heart on your sleeve, cover your battlevest in things you feel passionately about ...but learn about the slogans you're using, don't be a fucking poser and understand that you might be putting yourself in a vulnerable position by displaying your politics

an official prequel book has been released and it is VERY divisive. there is a lot of mischaracterisation and erasure of lore which understandably has people upset. it's extremely intense and I'd rather just enjoy the game and art, quietly.
