The crazy part is? Nobody notices/noticed that, but me.

Which there is NOTHING wrong with that, it's a phase of life. Some grow out of it quicker than others and eventually a lot of them will have better heads on their shoulders later. (we all go through it). I remember being the young guy in the group at 15, now I'm the old guy of the group at 40.

Younger people are the age where they have no concept of wasting time (and honestly... who can blame them? That's the time to do it anyways for a lot of times), but I don't associate much with them. They want to engage in arguments, share their wrong opinions as fact, be socially awkward.

People are still around, they're still active, just not in the most front facing way anymore so they look dormant. Time is precious, things were re-prioritized more effectively with gained life experiences. That really just means reaching out more to the people that are important to you.

You didn't age out, those of us who have been around for a long time have long since realized that social media isn't worth the headache so we dip in/out from time to time because we realized we were wasting time with it. To younger folks it's still new/worth it to them and they're more vocal.
