@charliemchapman.comI have a Testflight build stuck in review for for a new thing that might be the most wild thing I've ever created
@charliemchapman.comNew Launched! 🚀 I’ve been admiring Ranjith and Kamal’s incredible work with Box Box Club for a long time, it was really cool getting into their backstory and all of the cool experiences with F1 they’ve had while building the app over the years 🏎️
@charliemchapman.comYou love to hear it ☺️
@charliemchapman.comYep, you can do that in this version!
@charliemchapman.comThe typeface of cinema
@charliemchapman.comAnd of course I’m building with iPhone Duo support right out of the gate Will this be the first video editor optimized for Duo? 🤔
@charliemchapman.comThanks to Apple's pretty incredible on-device Speech Framework, you can create auto-captions super quickly on any device Then edit the text, customize the color, font, outline, shadow, background, and even highlight the current word for some truly... uh... beautiful captions
@charliemchapman.comThanks!
@charliemchapman.comEver wanted to quickly crop videos on macOS without needing to import into the Photos app first? Trimothy's got you
@charliemchapman.comThis is extremely beta, you've been warned 😄
But definitely give me feedback!
@charliemchapman.comSo I've been building the Apple native video editing app of my dreams No projects, no libraries, just drop in files, trim, crop, add AI captions, export and get out. On macOS, iOS, iPadOS and Duo And I'm calling it – against my better judgement – Trimothy TestFlight link👇
@charliemchapman.comIt's been a hot minute since I hit this button
@charliemchapman.comNew app I've been wanting to exist for _forever_ is coming to TestFlight soon 👀 Group chat bullying me to take the branding in a... interesting direction 😅
@charliemchapman.comMy favorite metric for a successful @launchedfm.com episode is the amount of laughter in it, and @jagcesar.bsky.social and @fosiadesign.bsky.social served those up in spades 😅 This was such a fun one!
@charliemchapman.comThis is just the simulator so maybe they will in the release version 🤞
@charliemchapman.comJust realized how weird the web is going to look on the iPhone Duo 🤔 Are there web standards these days that help with the horizontal safe areas?
@charliemchapman.comaww, thanks! Glad to hear you're enjoying it! 🥰
@charliemchapman.comIn the new Device Hub is there a way to copy a screenshot to the clipboard without needing to save it to disk first?
@charliemchapman.comwell this seems shippable 🤪
@charliemchapman.comI know we’re all impatiently awaiting the iPhone Duo simulator… but a good starting point is turning on landscape support for your iPhone app and seeing what’s broken
