We will also be making more short form videos in the future. Not replacing the sessions, but adding to them!
Since our schedule is loosened by this change we can feel free to make what we want to make, and boi we have a lot of ideas!
With that being said, have a wonderful day! #ttrpg #pathfinder2e
We know that some may be disappointed by this, and that the algorithm will undoubtedly take a dagger to us for not making ourselves slaves to a factory entertainment industry. But we make art and have fun here. Not making products, nor "content".
The long reason is because we are a very small team, and we want to create videos are substantial quality without killing ourselves. Forcing these videos to go live weekly, while demanded by the algorithm, is both nonsensical and unhealthy. We are fully committing to quality over quantity.
A show has started for @victorlincolnpine.newgrounds.com, but the accelerated design class is over!
Next week we hope to be back to a semblance of normalcy. with a change:
Episodes will go live when they're available. Not according to a weekly schedule.
This is for health and art reasons. #ttrpg
Episode 2 of Copperburrow will be significantly delayed. This is due to numerous class assignments for @victorlincolnpine.newgrounds.com.
It will happen, and it will be at 6pm EST.
We will just keep you posted on what day exactly.
Copperburrow βοΈEpisode 1 will go live at 6pm EST today!
Sorry for all the waiting, we had a lot of technical difficulties, but we hope you enjoy this new campaign!
There will be no upload today cause this last week was a hassle for everyone's schedules.
Next Sunday, September 20th, will be the first episode of Copperburrow βοΈ, a new Steampunk campaign GM'ed by Cerena!
So to really answer the question: do not "consume" genres. Study them! Analyze them! Have a note pad and write down your thoughts on the genre while you watch it! You will learn so much about how they work and how to best represent them in your games. Trust me, I go to university for this.
This is mod @victorlincolnpine.newgrounds.com talking, but the thing is, as a theater tech and design student, you are asked to study scripts for the tiniest details and then do the same for your research projects. The goal is to make an immersive world for the audience! The same goes for GMs!
This is a trick question in our book! Cause the answer is literally ALL OF THEM! Immerse yourself in every single genre you can find! And don't just read them or casually watch them. Really get into the brass tacks and take notes! And if your setting has a genre, focus on that genre!
The Ratinac Shipping Union has been a thorn in Rodney Copperseed's side for 6 seasons. They want revolutionary things like guaranteed lunch hours, overtime pay for when a voyage takes longer than scheduled, increased wages, and *worst* of all, labor rights for the 4th district factories! How awful!
Great Paw ππ, Episode 23 is set to go live at 6pm Monday!
This is a premier link so you can follow if now if you like!
Issue, after issue, after issue...
But... the video is finally rendering an hour before the deadline. However unfortunately this means we will not reach our mark for getting this video out in time, as it takes 1.5 hours to render and 3 hours to upload.
So it will be live Monday at 6pm. #ttrpg
Given how much has happened over the last few weeks, the scheduled Great Paw episode will go live Sunday at 6pm instead of Saturday.
This may become a recurring thing, given that @victorlincolnpine.newgrounds.com does in fact have a full course load for her semester.
Great Paw ππ Episode 22 will go live at 11:30 am EST!
It will look and sound a little different this time, due to some technical issues we discussed earlier, but try we keep things to the utmost of quality, so don't worry!
