38 points off turnovers. I think without turnovers 9ers win 10-9 lol

One step closer to creating artificial anxiety!

Shout out to all the Spokesman journalists who continued to produce high-quality and ethical journalism in the face of constant interference from their lessers!

Never trust a Disney adult or an amateur magician.

Also the Comma legal counsel clearly prepared to back Curley no matter what the investigation turns up.

Deeply unserious.

Last week, Curley was set to host a Comma event featuring Joe Rohde, a former Disney Imagineer. When the event started, Wares was hosting instead, but shortly into the conversation, Wares invited Curley up to the stage to conduct the interview.

“I’d like to invite the biggest Disney fan that I know, the person who is actually the chief Imagineer of Comma, to join me on stage. Please welcome Rob Curley,” she said.

The audience inside the packed theater cheered, with about a dozen people sitting near the front giving him a standing ovation, including at least one Comma employee.

Curley rushed onto the stage, with Elton John’s “I’m Still Standing” booming through the Gonzaga auditorium.

It also brings up serious concerns about Comma as a deeply unserious and unprofessional organization that seems filled with Curley's guys. My hope is that Stacey takes the investigation seriously and considers what the best path forward for the Spokesman and it's committed employees is

Really nice work by @rangemedia.co and @investigatewest.bsky.social.

On paper I like the idea of a community-owned/nonprofit newspaper, but, as with everything, the quality of leadership matters. This story paints Curley in a pretty damning light.

Mamdani's body language is so interesting to me whenever he's around Trump. He's usually very smiley and jovial, but with Trump he's stoic and almost uptight looking. Not anything surprising, but he makes it obvious he can't stomach the guy while remaining professional IMO

It's nice not having the philosophy of prevent defense and letting them make the game closer. MacDonald is happy to keep stepping on their throats til the end. Warriors in the garden and all that.

Spokane is great and the city has been making some really good policy choices and investments, especially when it comes to public transit and housing. Could always use more hardened bike lanes, but Spokane is on the up and up

A very cool and good thing that my city is doing. There are a lot of avoidable deaths that good policy can help avoid. Hopefully we see some good results from and we can continue to expand these efforts

My "people involved in bestiality can now apply to the FBI" rule has a lot of people asking questions already answered by the rule

My teacher explained that it was about the size of a train car that was used to transport Jews and other prisoners to camps. The lesson left a lasting impression on me and it's the first thing that came to mind when I saw those phone booth cages. Utterly disgusting and ihumane

@hypnautic.bsky.socialSep 14, 2026, 5:47 PM

When I was a high school sophomore, I had an English class where we read Elie Wiesel's "Night." To reinforce the inhumane treatment that people faced, our teacher taped off a small rectangle on the floor and had the class of ~30 cram ourselves within the space

Weatherize your homes, folks. Utilities typically offer rebates to add insulation, electrifying, improving your energy efficiency, windows, etc.

Congrats! We always need people advocating for better land use and you'll be a great addition to the comission
