Tad is already a successful lawyer who's fighting demons from a case where he got their younger brother acquitted even though he was guilty; and Kirk wants some of the success his brother has.

@dtvconnoisseur.bsky.socialA2. I try to have one core main character that's like the sun around which the other characters orbit, and then see which other characters will be planets, moons, comets, etc., and how their gravitational pull will affect the main character.

@dtvconnoisseur.bsky.socialA3. Sorry, I'm late tonight, but what I love is seeing how the character develops in ways I didn't expect as the writing process goes on. I think it's good to establish who they are and their background, but then let them develop organically while writing the story.
