I once asked Jerry to ink a copy of the Swan drawing I own, and he absolutely crushed it. For my money, he is the best Swan inker, period.

Here's the piece @philhester.bsky.social and I did for this year's Ed Asner Family Center auction at Heritage. It goes live soon. Please go check it out and bid (heartily).

No judgment here! I pay forty bucks a year for a site that ranks players for the draft and free agents each week. I don‘t let some AI crap run my team or follow everything the rankings say. It’s just like buying a magazine in the old days!

Maybe we could end this shit right now just by spreading the rumor that AI came up with Liberty Biberty.

Awesome!

Sad for my Cubs fan friends, but at least PAC can get back to playing his banjo in backwoods Georgia now.

So sorry. Sending love!

Another Terry Austin example also includes legends Neal Adams and Dick Giordano (and one of the best superhero book ever - Superman vs. Muhammad Ali). Terry does backgrounds only here, and he's using a Hunt 102 nib (with bits of fading marker). Interesting how Dick tweaked the clouds in panel 1.

I'm obsessed with the work of inker Terry Austin, particularly in the '70s and '80s. There are a couple of great examples for auction at Heritage now. First... check this page inked over Pat Broderick. Looks like Terry used a lot of Rapidograph here, and tons of tones for a b&w book.

We're saying goodbye to Our Good Boy today. Berkley has been with us for 17 of his 18 years and we love him dearly. It sucks that the last thing a dog need us to do for him is also the hardest thing, but that's the role we took on when we made him part of our family. Glamour shot from younger days.

Sigh... I guess I'll never own a page from one of my favorite jobs of all time: the Star-Lord issue of Marvel Preview by Byrne and Austin. Just mind blowing stuff, especially from Austin (working for black and white). This great one just sold for 14k at Heritage.

It's become kind of a key issue because of the early (first?) Spawn ad.

I've seen precisely half of the NY Times Best TV of the Century list and can confirm that they were good shows.

Please don't overreact to the SCOTUS SAVE database decision today Page 6 of the decision makes clear that we are in the 90 day statutory window when mass changes cannot be made to voter lists! Yeah it's a shit decision for the reasons the 3 dissenters say but we can deal with it. More to come...

This sticker I got from @joeyesposito.bsky.social covers it pretty well.

Complete with Nazi font and what appears to be a line of droids near the plane!

I confess that it may just be a case of simmering familiarity, but I'm not sure I've ever experienced a reading of this speech that so fully allowed me to comprehend each beat.

@andeparks.bsky.socialSep 24, 2026, 4:31 PM

Jesus, Jack... that's some creepy shit.

I have used this argument with racists, to little effect. They just fall back on "cultural differences".
