@roseberrycomix.bsky.socialThank you for having us!!! I am so happy you played some Fantadroms :D
@evandahm.bsky.socialReposted by @roseberrycomix.bsky.socialTRADING CARDS for the event tomorrow!!!
@roseberrycomix.bsky.socialYay I'm so happy my advice was helpful and you had a great time at MILK!!! :D (also if you want to travel to the East Coast in the future...MICE is my favorite and the con I do the highest sales at, and TCAF and SPX are also cool & well worth it)
@roseberrycomix.bsky.socialCXC: some of the worse sales I've ever made at an indie comic con which shocked me until I was told low sales are super normal here. Dunno if CXC moving dates will change that. I think it was worth it for how cool the programming/art exhibits/etc was but I wish someone had warned me about the sales.
@roseberrycomix.bsky.socialNow, if sales numbers matter to you this was my experience... CAKE: by far the best sales, one of my top sales cons. A2CAF and SLICE: OK sales, these are one day events with <1k attendees and the sales reflect that even if I think each can punch above their weight class there's a ceiling you know?
@roseberrycomix.bsky.socialSLICE: really appreciated how helpful and hands-on volunteers and staff were and the post-con breakfast for exhibitors was a great way to meet people. CXC: amazing programming, I recommend coming in early to do the Billy Ireland library tour and doing as much panels/talks/etc as you can fit in.
@roseberrycomix.bsky.socialCAKE: fave midwest show I've been to. Loved Chicago and everyone I met there, really cool vibes, strong sales. A2CAF Small Press: pleasantly surprised by how enthusiastic the crowd was for my work--great if your target audience is students/academics. Amazing free lunch too.
