I have a “completely” day off today. Isn’t bad thing that I don’t do any work and rest well, right?
Thank you for sharing ! I think it’s a good sign for residents. We have same spots in Japan, but that’s not mentioning what is for. However, this system you shared can tell clearly to meet up with other residents in the emergency. Fantastic!
Thank you!
I went to Tokyo…again. I had to go somewhere…
That’s true. I think risks won’t come out, too. However it might happen someday so we need to prepare.
Thank you! I wish I could share the livestream or the podcast for global listeners someday!
Wow, thank you for sharing! It’s so interesting.
Since October, I’ve been sharing disaster preparedness tips on a community radio station in Nagasaki. I’m providing residents with practical tips grounded in expert knowledge. I’m working together with them to create a program that delivers disaster information closely for the local community.
A major autumn festival is taking place in Nagasaki from Oct. 7th to 9th. It’s a traditional event since the Edo period.
I decided to step down from a project. Although it offered experiences, burdens kept growing, and I struggled. Once I decided to quit, I felt a genuine sense of relief and was able to put more energy and enthusiasm into my real work.
Some even mentioned that, after the seminar, they purchased the very same items online that were used during the session!
Tasting, experiencing, listening, and talking…all of these activities are parts of disaster prevention. I spoke at a disaster preparedness seminar for women in a Japanese local community. Many participants responded positively to the topic of disaster preparedness.
I conducted a business continuity tabletop exercise for a long-term care provider in Nagasaki Pref., Japan. This training was organized by an organization for Japanese care providers, and staff members actively exchanged views on how to respond to a disaster.
Oh you’re right! I think that’s the most famous exhibition held there.
I had a great dinner with my family and guests from Canada. It’s a wonderful experience to share the time with them!
The best night with my friends since we’re in the university. Best friends!! I’m so happy to meet them! 🥰
I’m in Tokyo to participate the largest expo about risk and security in Japan.
Oh, that’s nice! I’ll try to take a screenshot for that.
I went to my grandpa’s today. He’s in a care facility and his memory isn’t what it used be, but he still remembered me. When I told him about my job, his eyes lit up. I’m just glad to see him doing well.
I recommend check this portal provided by Ministry of Land, infrastructure, transport and tourism in Japan. Nationwide information services are suitable for international tourists to some extent. The most important thing is getting accurate information. www.mlit.go.jp/river/bousai...
