I have on occasion been on the road and thought I’d share some photos of what I saw along the way. Photos by me, though on rare occasions I might accidentally post one taken by a family member but that got on my phone. #Photography
Thank you Luis!!

Thank you sir!
agreed! It was nice timing that we visited there right before sunset.
Thank you! I’ve posted a lot of shots from that visit, but I don’t think I’ve shown a shot from this angle. The place is amazing, I first visited in the eighties when it still had the old trestle which you could walk across (not sure if that was legal, mind you).
Thanks Alina!
Thank you Luis!
Thanks Robyn, it used to have more warehouses, but 1 blew up (they were filled with gun powder after all). Now there is only this main warehouse/castle and a small castle at the top of the island that was where they stayed sometimes. Before the island they used to store the gunpowder in NYC. Yikes!
The hills and fields of Bangor, Maine. Wait, that's not right...

I was only off by 2,880 miles.
Genesee Falls, Letchworth State Park, Portageville, NY
I feel I should mention this park is in Wyoming County (which predates the state of Wyoming by almost 50 years).
Bannerman Castle, Beacon, NY
If traveling down the Hudson River you many occasionally see an island, but it is a rare island that features the remains of the castle. Rarer still a castle that was really just a gunpowder warehouse.
Absolutely wonderful! But why do I hear the Twin Peaks theme song? (Or is that just in my head).
Thank you so much for reading it! It felt good to get some of my thoughts out.
Some trees get very very protective of their benches.

What a great shot of Bergen! And please tell me Beav was solidly affixed
Poor Beav looks absolutely terrified!! (Cool shot)
My stomach aches looking at that photo!
Love the colors!!!!!
I think the Kuleshov effect must be real. He’s terrified by the clown but I can tell he’s excited about the donut!
