Now the options are… a Google Calendar invite? Eventbrite? Posting a flyer to Instagram?
Obviously, Facebook events is still running. But having one platform everyone was not only on but could easily open the invite to other people?? It was perfect tool for comic events
Thinking about how post-pandemic, Toronto lost a lot of community events for new comic creators. Drink and draws, ladies nights, mixers etc There’s a lot of reasons to point to, but I honestly think losing Facebook Events didn’t help either
