For too long, women affected by mesh have been denied a voice in the medical harm debate. This amazing new documentary gives those women back their voice. It is time to give justice to the women who have been physically and emotionally harmed by mesh.

It has been over two years since the groundbreaking Hughes Report. Over two years that the victims of mesh have been left forgotten, unheard, with irreversible damage to their bodies.

Today, I called on the government to stop the stalemate and finally give the victims of mesh the justice they deserve. Every day of delay is a day of justice denied.

One of two Labour gains from Reform in Northumberland by-elections yesterday. Too early to know for sure we've passed peak Reform, but another encouraging sign.

This is shocking when you see the numbers. Around 3,300 women are diagnosed with cervical cancer every year, and 18,800 with the other 4, for which there are no routine screening programmes. We need change! Please support the petition calling for yearly women’s health check-ups. (2/3)

There are 5 gynaecological cancers: cervical, womb, ovarian, vulval and vaginal. In the UK, only cervical cancer has a routine screening programme. (1/3)

🏡/ 🤷🏻🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏻‍♂️ Ultimately it’s a supply and demand issue and we need to build many, many more homes of all types and suitable for all ages. 🏗️ But for the short term, it’s often more expensive to rent BUT too difficult to get a deposit to buy. This scheme will help that. 💷
