The first two novels are never going to see the light of day, I love them very much for the nostalgia of writing them, but no one in the world could ever consider them any good, but I have hopes for the other four ✨ honestly it’s just lovely to be able to enjoy writing again!

I realised today that I’ve now finished writing 6 novels, and am planning on completing the first draft of a 7th before the end of this year - none have been published (yet, hopefully) but for someone who never thought they could finish even one, I’m really proud of myself!

DO NO HARM is a cosmic horror featuring bleak hospitals in the depths of space, body horror, sapphic romance, and alien spongiform life. It’s out of my hands now, and so begins the anxious waiting. I really enjoyed writing it and I really hope I get to share it with you all someday!

And how far will Aizer-Kumi go to protect their investment? Against the company’s orders, Ari and her surviving friends must use all their wits to save the remaining patients from the alien life form infiltrating the ship, even if it costs them their lives.

When a patient goes on a brutal rampage, ranting about experiments and killing several of Ari’s colleagues, she must confront the truth. What’s really going on inside the research department? What is the mysterious sponge-like creature warping the minds of the infected?

A strange dust permeating the air, billowing out from inside the hospital’s shadowy research and development department. The researchers’ increasingly bizarre behaviour, a strange light behind their eyes.

Amongst the bloodshed of a warzone and the toxically competitive atmosphere amongst her colleagues, Ari and her new friends start to notice strange occurrences. Patients disappearing from the wards, never to be seen again. Disturbing synthetic nurses watching their every step.

Aboard, she vies for a promotion into the research team and competes against her misfit shift-mates for the role that would guarantee her future… The ship is quickly deployed to assist a colony planet in a charitable mission treating refugees of a brutal civil war.

For those curious, here’s the pitch: Ari is an aspiring trauma surgeon, desperate to escape Aizer-Kumi Corporation’s colony planet, Gatteran, and the memories of her mother’s death. Dreaming of a better life, she accepts a job as a surgeon aboard Aizer-Kumi’s hospital starship, the MSS Asclepius.

I realise it’s been a while since I posted any updates, but it’s because I’ve been busy with an exciting project! Last week my sapphic SF horror novel, DO NO HARM, went out on submission to publishers. I had a lot of fun writing it! To celebrate, here’s some artwork I created for it 🙂

Good morning! I am currently reading an unpublished novel by the disgustingly talented @jennicoutts.bsky.social and it’s soooo good. I can’t wait for it to find a home so I can shout about it!
