@rammwriter.bsky.socialUnless I was a threat to national security, I think I'd be okay.
@rammwriter.bsky.socialD13. Yes, I think I'd at least hang out with any of them. Even the rotten ones have qualities that would be interesting to experience, even if only for a limited time. Honestly, I'd be more than happy to hang out in 1972, period.

@rammwriter.bsky.socialSupernatural did a great homage to this film in the episode called 'Mystery Spot'. It's funny as fuck... until it isn't.
@rammwriter.bsky.socialD11. The Butterfly Effect film has always stood out for me as something different. It's an uncomfortable watch, very dystopian in tone, but a smart exploration of how an ability to time travel can go horribly wrong, with no way of putting things right again.
@rammwriter.bsky.socialNo cousins, but there are sisters.

@rammwriter.bsky.socialI don't have the actual word fuzzy, but I can offer this rather fuzzy chase scene.

@rammwriter.bsky.socialD9. The MC is probably the most cynical - though most people would probably be cynical when presented with time travel as fact rather than fantasy. Unless you're a quantum scientist or a bent politician in my story, you're going to doubt what the powers that be are telling you.
@rammwriter.bsky.socialNo raid, but I have afraid.

@rammwriter.bsky.socialThere's nothing remotely like a lizard in my story. The absolute best I can manage is a bluebottle.

@rammwriter.bsky.socialAnd, of course, the events are all connected.
@rammwriter.bsky.socialD7. โIt was rhetorical, Olssen, I know where heโs been. I also know about an aborted kidnapping, a corpse on the hotel driveway and a fugitive scientist. This has been a deeply embarrassing day for British security and you'd better have some damned good explanations...โ

@rammwriter.bsky.socialHaha. Now you both know. Artistic licence at its finest.
@rammwriter.bsky.socialBecause there wasn't a real Civil War battle in the part of Somerset where the story is based. ๐
@rammwriter.bsky.socialD5. Some of the characters pass through a time vortex and find themselves in the middle of an English Civil War battle. This particular battle didn't really happen - I made it up - but I like to think the details of 17th century warfare are correct and compelling.
