Moashi flopped down against Dazzle. “Has Halvery been haranguing you? Or giving you his version of an encouraging speech?” “The latter,” said Dazzle. “Oh, good. How many times has he insulted you?” “Not above six or seven.” “A very encouraging speech then!” -Thrive, Hunters Unlucky Book 6

“Don’t you remember that summer?” demanded Arcove. “Don’t you remember the lake?”
He thought Keesha might ask innocently what summer and what lake, but he didn’t.
“I know I hurt you,” continued Arcove. “I can’t imagine that you’ve actually forgotten. I think you must have my teeth marks in your spine.”

So grateful that there are so many people who still care about and support art, monetarily or otherwise. A single encouraging word can still make my day. I reflect on the culture we’ve built as furries and my heart just overflows. It’s an oasis in a wasteland and idk what I’d do without all of you.
